triptych from the Sorry I haven't written in so long, project

The lined and margined image is a reproduction of the common paper my brother, T-Roe, uses to write to me in his many letters. Here the standard blue and red is accompanied by combinations of green and purple and red and orange. The subtle color change removes the image one step further from the original object. The absence of any other visual content speaks to all that is lost in the attempt between two people to communicate with one another as well as the physical absence my brother and I each feel separately.
