I am interested in transformation. My work is a process-oriented exploration of change touching upon issues of time and perception: how landscapes, people, and ideas develop or mutate over extended periods. Materials in my sculptures and drawings start out simply as common consumer goods or graphite on paper and develop into mutated topographies, prison-inspired tattoo guns and washed drawings. The final physical result is an artifact of my process.
