"Family Ties/Money Tree"

This wall piece was created during the _gaia Studio Wonder Woman residency, Money, Money, Money and is a sort of map tracking the interactions, neogitations and (mis)communications among family. Each family member has a unique piece of territory cut out in the shape of the place (s)he lives. On that territory is a portrait of each member drawn on a tea bag filled with a different spice. This spice-filled tea bag acts as a currency, with each member having her/his own denomination.
